The Friday Club is a friendly, welcoming weekly event for older people that combines socialising, light physical activity, entertainment, and a delicious freshly cooked lunch.
What to Expect:
- Doors open at 9:30am, with morning tea served at 10am.
- Enjoy about 30 minutes of optional gentle physical exercises such as tai chi, chair yoga, movement, or falls prevention activities—designed to improve strength and balance.
- Each week features a guest speaker, entertainer, or live music to inform, inspire, and entertain.
- A freshly prepared 2-course lunch is served at 12pm.
- Ample time is provided throughout to meet new friends and relax in great company.
You can attend all activities or choose just morning tea or lunch—whatever suits you best. No membership or bookings required, and everyone is warmly welcome.

The Friday Club is run by dedicated volunteers who handle cooking, serving, cleaning, and sometimes even entertaining.
