For anyone with a scooter or considering getting a scooter.

The course covers:

  1. What is a mobility scooter?
  2. Legal requirements, rules of use, who can use, when not to use etc.
  3. Medical impairments and scooters.
  4. What skills are required?
  5. Planning and preparation – safe/unsafe scooter routes and making sure you can see and be seen.
  6. Is a scooter right for you?
  7. Choosing a scooter and related equipment.
  8. Maintaining your scooter.
  9. Practical session to simulate driving a scooter.

The course is free to attend and the date and venue to be advised.
