The rising cost of vaccines and what it means for older New Zealanders

Vaccination can play an important role in protecting our health as we get older, particularly for people who may be at greater risk of serious illness.

However, the cost of some vaccines can be a significant barrier for people who are not eligible for public funding. A new Stuff article highlights one vaccine that can cost around $802, raising questions about affordability and access.
